The AGPTEK Smartwatch is an excellent choice for both Android and iPhone users. It has a strong charging cable, a comfortable band, and long battery life. It is recommended for anyone looking for an affordable yet high-quality watch, especially women.
Great Value for the Price
Costing a bit less than $50, the watch is great for someone who wants a good smartwatch and does not want to break the bank. You should not expect to have extensive features like high-end watches. The features this watch provides are just good, not excellent. This watch is definitely a very good choice if you are looking for a gift.
Extended Battery Life
The Agptek smartwatch has a standby time of about 15 days and a normal usage time of about 7 days. Depending on usage, a full charge on the battery can last about 10 days before needing to be recharged.
Not suitable for beginners
There is no terminology definition or assistance for novice customers. The manual is quite long. The watch face features black and white photos set against a dark background. A white broken line runs across the top of each of these pictures, with extremely small fonts.
Mobile phone compatibility issues
Not every phone can connect with the suggested application in controlling the watch. It’s however very easy to use with an iPhone.
Their app has a low rating and frequently crashes. Some of the features need to be updated. Connecting the Fitcloud app to Google Fit can also be frustrating due to the slowness with which information is registered. It takes about 24 hours for them to begin communicating. Unfortunately, it does not transfer any other information automatically. Google Fit requires you to manually enter blood pressure readings and sleep times. However, with continuous health monitoring, you’ll be able to check your average BP, O2, and HR on the Fitcloud app at any time. Although the HR, BP, and SpO2 monitors are not perfect, the results are adequate.
Limited range connectivity
When the watch is out of range, it disconnects from the phone and takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to reconnect when it is back in range. If you are out of range and receive a call or text message, the alert will not be sent to your watch when you return.
Limited customization options
Only one face is customizable, but the background can easily be replaced with a photo. Some basic customizations, such as changing font sizes and colors, are also missing. It also lacks sufficient data for “at a glance.” It requires more digital faces, fewer analog faces, and more data on them. It’s also a shame that no phone numbers for the company were provided in their manual.
Weather functions are limited
Users have complained that the weather information is not completely accurate and does not match your phone, even if location services are enabled and available to the app.
